Who we are
Supreme Doner Kebab, 35 Bridge Street, Swindon SN1 1BP. Phone 01793 976676.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, phone number and email address, the items and options you choose, any notes you add, your order reference and the payment status of your order.
To protect online ordering from abuse, our server stores a scrambled (hashed) identifier derived from your internet (IP) address with each new order. It is not your raw IP address, but it can still relate to you, so we treat it as personal data.
Why we use it
- To prepare and hand over your order, contact you about it, and deal with support questions, refunds and payment disputes — because it is needed to carry out your order (contract).
- To keep records we are legally required to keep (legal obligation).
- To protect the website from abuse and to find and fix errors (legitimate interests).
Who handles it
- Our order database is hosted by Supabase, through Lovable Cloud.
- Only authorised restaurant staff who sign in can see order details.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. This website does not store your full card number or security code (CVC).
- The website is hosted by Lovable, which also provides error monitoring.
- Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
Stored in your browser
- Your basket, chosen order type, contact details and notes are saved in your browser's local storage so they are not lost if you reload the page. They are cleared when your order is placed or you empty the basket.
- A random checkout code is kept in session storage while you check out, to stop the same order being placed twice. It is removed once the order is placed.
- Stripe's payment form may set its own storage to process payments and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil and support your order, handle refunds and disputes, meet legal record-keeping requirements and keep the service secure, and then remove it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your information, to provide it in a portable form, or object to how we use it. Call the restaurant on 01793 976676 or ask in store.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
